Peridot has a Mohs hardness of 7 and is a magnesium-iron silicate mineral.  Peridot can be found and mined in Pakistan, Burma, Australia, Brazil, South Africa, and the USA.

How to use Raw Peridot

Raw period stones can be sliced, tumbled, cut into cabochons, or faceted.  These specimens look excellent as a tree-of-life base.  Also fabulous for display in your home or office.
