Obsidian is mined in locations worldwide, such as the USA, Turkey, Scotland, Peru, Papua New Guinea, New Zealand, Mexico, Kenya, and Japan.  You can also find it in Iceland, El Salvador, Greece, Guatemala, and Australia.  These Obsidian arrowheads originated from Mexico.  Obsidian is an igneous rock that forms when molten rock material cools so rapidly that atoms cannot arrange themselves into a crystalline structure. It is an amorphous material known as a \"mineraloid.\" The result is a volcanic glass with a smooth, uniform texture that breaks with a conchoidal fracture.         

 Cleaning Instructions: You can gently clean this with a soft microfiber cloth.                                                                                                                                The Approximate Measurements: 8.75 inches long and 3.50 inches wide.
